Traditional Irish sweaters and Aran sweaters
Fran Ryan of Dingle Linens, Dingle, Ireland has been designing Irish sweaters for many years. She is inspired by the magical place that is The Dingle Peninsula as well as her native Co. Clare where history and mythology combine to create designs that are unique to her.
She creates traditional Irish sweaters and Aran sweaters with stitches passed down from generation to generation but with a twist; she designs and creates these in linen and cotton (and 100% cotton as research showed that many people cannot wear wool). However, a large range of Irish sweaters are available in wool also for those who want them.
Her modern designs consist of ladies dresses, coats, jackets, camisoles and all these garments made be custom made also, some knitted, some hand crochet.
She exhibits at many fairs and shows in U.S .including Eastern States Expo, in Springfield M.A. where she has a large number of customers and this is one of her favourite Fairs and she has now made many friends among her customers. She exhibits at Syracuse Irish Fest, Savannah Irish Fest and has exhibited at fairs in Milwaukee, Boston, Milford and Toronto.
Dingle Linens also carry a range of Irish Linen fabric for sale as are table napkins, baptismal gowns etc.
